Dalai Lama Chanting - Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra - Rig Veda http://bit.ly/Jc6XJ9 The recording of the Dalai Lama singing this ancient mantra 'Maha Mrityunjaya' of the Rig Veda was taken with the permission of the Dalai Lama to one of his students. At first he refused, but then he agreed, but said the mantra should never be sold, but must be passed in vain. If you would like to share this with others, please continue to include this note.

@clare-macqueen: Dear Claire, as I said earier, there is a HUGE difference between the two fantastic voices of H.H. Dalai Lama and Hein Braat. THIS IS H.H. Is is easy to recognise for me, as I know his voice. Also the pronounciation is of an Asian native speaker, not a Dutch native speaker trying on Sanskrit. Just take the word 'Amrita'...Check it out for yourself. :-))

@user-743530747: It IS the extremely beautiful and deep voice of His Holiness Dalai Lama. The voice of Hein Braat is very beautiful too, but not as deep. Also listen to the pronounciation. :-))

@geigercounterculture: Of course do Buddhists chant Dharmic hymns. We are all under the Dharmic religions umbrella.
